Novel Tea Dance 1900-1910 with Simon and Anna - August 23 2020

NOVEL TEA DANCE LESSONS 1900-1910 - AUGUST 2020

Join us for the first instalment in our online solo jazz program. Brought to you by teachers from across the globe, Novel-Tea Dancing Through The Ages focuses on dancing without the need for a partner and will cover solo steps, solo routines, novelty dances and everything in between. To be presented live via Zoom, these 1-hour classes will put the social into your social distancing and the swing into your step.

It all kicks off on Sunday August 23rd at 11:00 with dances from the turn of the century (1900-1910) when jazz was in its infancy and ragtime and barbershop quartets were all the rage. We are super lucky to have special guests from the UK, Simon and Anna Selmon teaching for us, as they are not only great teachers but also know their onions. Simon has spent his life studying the history of dance; the dancers and the music that inspires them.

So dust off those computer monitors, plug in your webcam and most importantly put on your dancing shoes.
