Novel Tea Dance: Al and Leon Shim Sham Moves

Join us for the third instalment of our online solo jazz and swing program!
Join us on December 5th at 11:00AM with special instructor Edina Shaw. Hailing from the rainy shores of Vancouver, Edina is a joyful dancer, delightful teacher, and fierce competitor.
So dust off those computer monitors, plug in your webcam and most importantly put on your dancing shoes.
For our next solo sensation we turn our attention to the 1950’s Al and Leon Shim Sham recorded in the movie The Spirit Moves and in the 1960's when Al Minns and Leon James demonstrated the routine on the Johnny Carson Show. Edina will teach us some moves from this iconic routine and show us how to play with them.
