About the Society
The Swing Dance Assocation of Victoria is a non-profit society dedicated to promoting Swing Dancing throughout Victoria, British Columbia.
President
The society's President is Dale Horricks. Dale has been an integral part of the swing dance scene for a few years. He brings a level head, a fun attitude, and a wealth of experience to the Board of Directors.
Vice President
The society's Vice President is Kyle Murray. Kyle has been dancing for many years. He is warm, energetic, charismatic, and sure to shine a smile in your direction when you least expect it. He has experience in scene building, has had experience in performance teams, and exudes passion for both the dance and the music.
Treasurer
Known for his mastery of many dance forms (including Ballroom), Andrew Sanderson tracks every loonie, twonie, and dime that the society spends. When at the dances you can often find him spinning discs for the dancers.
Secretary
Natalie Balfour takes organization to a new level. Not only does she draft the society's newsletter (Sizzling Swing Monthly), she is always ready to splash the scene with excitement. From the first annual Swing-of-War competition to theme nights.
